Tinybuild should of sacked Dynamic Pixels from making this game after alpha 3 or 4.ġ.5/10, Somewhat fun with mods, but so sad to see the final game like this. The only blame you CAN put on Tinybuild is for them to let Dynamic Pixels cripple this game to what it is today. Instead, you can blame Dynamic Pixels for slowly, but surely, butchering what WAS once a great, scary, fun horror game. Alpha 3 of Hello Neighbor brought the first iteration of the large house. However, keep in mind you can't blame Tinybuild for this, they PUBLISH the game, not DEVELOP it, they are two different things. This "game" is not a game, it is a cash cow for Tinybuild. If you don’t mind solving abstract puzzles and throwing everything (including the kitchen sink) at your objectives all while constantly avoiding a particularly annoying antagonist, then you might get enjoyment out of this game. You MIGHT be able to derive some enjoyment from this game, but it requires overlooking absolutely essential elements gone awry, making Hello Neighbour very difficult to recommend. But the game fails on all of these points, not holding attention, not really projecting any fear beyond the first few encounters, and the world feels as flat as the polygons used to build it. The puzzling aspect of switches, hidden doors and traps would be more enjoyable were they staged within an inspiring world or using interesting concepts. Hello Neighbors Alpha 3 is usually a stealth horror sport created and released by a really well respected firm.
